Ixelles' Ponds by Night

It always amazed me how one can take pictures from distant places and never really enjoy it's own neighbourhood. Tonight I thought I would go for a walk with my camera and shoot some night scenes around my home. I actually found some nice spots and have seen the very place I walk through every morning and evening to go to and from the office from a new angle... just taking time to enjoy it.
This picture was taken at Ixelles' ponds in Brussels and look towards the infamous Place Flagey (Brussels' folks will no doubt recognize the place).

Welcome to the blog of downtown metropolis.

As you may have noticed, this blog is very simply designed. The reason for this is not my lack of taste for gizmos and other specs but simply the fact that this blog is much better viewed when visiting my website (www.downtown-metropolis.com). If you want to know more about me and my pictures, art and other stuff I do, please visit downtown-metropolis or email me at ldubois@downtown-metropolis.com.

This message should not be visible when visiting my website... with the exception of opera browser users (something about iframes and scrolling options in opera... I was too lazy to find another way to do this :0).

Thanks for your visit!
