Flower Composition

I have been leaving these dried flowers in a vase on my dinner table for a while. Tonight I thought I could make something a little more interresting with it. I set it up on a filing carton box cover and set the whole scene on my laptop (setting up a white screen to use it as side lighting - what do you know... I improvise since I don't have any studio equipment :0). The whole scene was macro-ed with my 300mm on my tripod and shot bracketing at 5 different exposures. A little combination HDR style, a quick crop panorama style and voila! Simple as never been so much fun :0)

Welcome to the blog of downtown metropolis.

As you may have noticed, this blog is very simply designed. The reason for this is not my lack of taste for gizmos and other specs but simply the fact that this blog is much better viewed when visiting my website (www.downtown-metropolis.com). If you want to know more about me and my pictures, art and other stuff I do, please visit downtown-metropolis or email me at ldubois@downtown-metropolis.com.

This message should not be visible when visiting my website... with the exception of opera browser users (something about iframes and scrolling options in opera... I was too lazy to find another way to do this :0).

Thanks for your visit!
